Review by Fany Van Hemelen:
What a lovely story, full of stubborn and gorgeous characters and a little mystery and drama in Rivermede.

Becca is the caring family member. She protects her mother and her brother and feels herself comfortable when everything stays as it is. Pearl, her mother, brings her world in turmoil. Apparently, she is going to marry, to leave London and to quit her job as a novelist. Becca is her personal assistant and will lose her grip on life then. Now she has to jump and leave her comfort zone. Fifteen years ago, her way of thinking and living changed, by one event and today she has to get back on track. For the wedding she visits Jack and his family and travels to Rivermede. This is a beautiful place, but soon Becca discovers that secrets are hidden in this village. In the beginning she is shocked when she meets someone from the past. Suddenly this person tells her to leave town, with her family, because it’s dangerous to stay. Becca didn’t know anymore who to trust and if she can starts again.

This contemporary novel is about relationships, trust, secrets and a close family connection. Your secret’s safe with me is a story with twists and turns. It made me guessing what was happened in the history and why it wasn’t safe in the little village. This entertaining story has a lot to offer for many readers. History, drama, witty dialogues and a cast of wonderful characters in a mystery that I want to unfold as quickly as possible.
