Recensie Black Matter door Fany van Hemelen:
Tommy MCGregor is a health freak who wants to make his well-being even better than it already is. To achieve this he takes an IPEA (Intra Body Profiling Examination Application). This is an implant that is connected through his central nervous system and will monitor several functions in his body and send the results to his mobile phone. The high-tech innovation is an asset to make his life even more comfortable. When we want something we didn’t always got what we ask and in this case the impact of the technology is horrifying . He lives in a nightmare and he doesn’t know why all this is happening.
Luckily DC Valentina has been a hard working, never giving up police detective. When she starts digging the result is incredible. Could technology have this terrifying impact? And who is responsible for the inhumane actions? What on earth is happening? For god sake how does she have to find the mastermind on the dark net?
This terrifying sci-fi thriller made me think. Today we all use technology and every day something new arrives. Often we just adapt this into our lives, but never think of the possible dangers.
I loved the start of this new promising thriller series!! The cover is amazing and shows the horror.
GD Parker has written an original fast-paced, nerve-wracking sci-fi thriller debut, where nothing is what it seems!
The hideous perpetrator has used our highly wanted technology to create a perfect weapon. The motives are traditional ones, the methods are incredible intelligent and monstrous.
When I tell you more I would give away the story, but believe me you must read this book! The cliffhanger at the end of Black Matter is so exciting that I can’t wait to read the sequels!
GD Parker is the author of the debut novel, Black Matter. Book one of a three-part series that explores the depths of the unfolding high-tech world we now live in, making it a dangerous place.
The novel will be available to purchase in e-book and paperback formats on the Amazon store.
